THIRD NATIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION

Participant Fee in the direction of:

Conditions:
In the competition the participants are divided into two age groups: from 5th to 8th class. The items of the projects should be:
A) "My home place – known and unknown"
B) "The science around us"
C) "The art and my world"
D) "Multilanguage Europe"
E) "The Green planet"
The participants can choose their own items. Each participant can participate in only one category.
The award could be received only by those students who are involved in the development of the site not only the gathering of the materials.
The authors have to present their work in front of the commission according The GNU (General Public License)

Directions for working out of projects for participation in the Information Technologies competition for students from 9 – 12 grade:

- multimedia clips;
- application programs;
- Internet applications;
The competition in category "Computer presentations" for students of 5 – 8 grade goes off different regulations. Contestants don’t prepare projects in advance. At the day of the competition they receive materials from the jury who gives them a topic ( a task ). Within 3 hours, each contestant has to prepare a presentation on the topic given which he or she will present in front of the jury and the audience. It is obligatory that each contestant in this category has to provide his or her own portable computer with a recording device and the necessary installed software for the preparation of the presentation ( there is no requirement for the version, in case of need, the presentation will be converted.) After all the presentations being assessed, the jury assigns the TOP 10 of them and the students who have prepared them, make a defence in front of the audience.

Conditions of participation
• clearly and precisely in the applied documentations should be cited the sources of the used information;
• in the competition is allowed projects which aren’t awarded with various national olympiad and contests to this moment;
• for creation of the projects should be used licensed software;
• websites and Internet applications should be posted on the Internet.
Send the project
The project should be sent before its presentation to the commission.
The participants should send their projects compulsory by e-mail and by post as observe following requirements.
By post
The project should be printed on paper and should be delivered till 18/03/2011 to the address of the VII Secondary School "Kuzman Shapkarev" / not valid postmark on this date/
1. Declaration to participation in the competition with format ( *.rtf) (APPLICATION 2);
2. To make advertising leaflet with format A4;
3. An invoice for payment of a fee of 20 leva per project;
4. One CD, on which should be saved the project, the presentation (*ppt, *pps, *fl), the documentation (*rtf ) and the declaration;
5. The project should be put in a folder with printed documentation.

1. ARHIV_1_nomer, which includes all documentation on a project in electronic form: APLICATION 1 and APLICATION 2, advertising leaflet, presentation – nomer- e-registration number, which the participant receive after his registration in competition’s site.

Registration of participants
• The registration of students and teachers should be done from 01.02.2011 till 16.03.2011 to address: http://www.sastezanie.7sou-blagoevgrad.com and should contain the names of authors (to two authors per project), the leader of project and the consultant in the subject area.
• The authors of the projects should have sent the project and the documentation till 18.03.2011 compulsory by email and by post .The projects which are not receive by the deadline both ways do not participate in the competition.
• Till 22.03.2011 the lists with registered participants and schedule for their performance will be published on the competition’s site: http://www.sastezanie.7sou-blagoevgrad.com
• After the end of registration, the categories might unite in the final classification, less than six projects in directions. The assessment despite this will be with criteria that is mention in regulation for each category.
Additional information
To the excelled participants, the South-West University “ Neofit Rilski “ will offer admission in the university. The reward fund of the competition is 25 leva (or €15), and there are also a lot of bounty awards provided. Information for hotels and nights in hotels of preference prices will be published in the site of the competition. The necessary resources ( nights in hotels, travel and daily expenses and fees ) have to be provided by the schools, the municipalities, sponsors, etc.
